BIO-QUANT, INC. RELOCATES HEADQUARTERS TO SAN DIEGO.
New Site Features State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility and Corporate Offices.
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, March 27 --Bio-Quant, Inc., a multiplex detection
company with several technology platforms in diagnostics, announced today
that it has relocated its headquarters from Hilton Head, South Carolina,
to a new purpose-built facility in San Diego, California.
The new location features a state-of-the-art
manufacturing facility that can accommodate the growing demand for Bio-Quant’s
diagnostic kits. It will also house the company’s corporate offices.
"Our new facility provides us with
the means to further expand our customer projects as well as our internal
ones," said Bassam B. Damaj, Ph.D., President and CEO of Bio-Quant. "It
allows the production of up to 2,400 units a day."
The location represents an opportunity
for Bio-Quant to custom configure its manufacturing facilities for a more
efficient use of space. The new manufacturing facilities are expected
to be ready and certified by the summer of 2001.
